Knit Sweater

Most people learn a new skill by starting with the basics. You slowly work your way up from beginner to expert, you never start the other way around. . . that is, unless you're my mom. My mother, is an accomplished crocheter and now has decided to add knitter to her title. Me. When I learned to knit I started with a scarf, your basic knit-purl, knit-purl. Now, several years later, I'm working on a blanket, which really is just a big scarf when you get right down to it. My mom on the other hand, starts with making my dad a sweater. I don't even think she's attempted to make a scarf yet. She pulled out the big guns and went straight to making a sweater. Good on you mom!!! I'm so proud of you. The work you've done is beautiful. You're so crafty and I just want to show the world what you can do with two bamboo sticks and a few skeins of yarn. The pictures don't do it justice.
