Oh my. The rain is relentless today. I do hope you are reading this somewhere dry and that your seasonal affective disorder isn't causing you too much grief. If you're experiencing bouts of depression caused by the inability to see the blue sky or sunlight, take a look at the attached video -- it cheers me up and I hope it will turn your frown upside down too.
I've been singing this to Alex and she thinks it's just about the funniest little ditty that ever was. Here she is performing the song using her best country twang. And in case you're having trouble making out the words, here are the lyrics:
How'd you get to be so sweet?
How'd you get to be so sweet?
Did you dip yourself in sugar,
did you dip yourself in honey?
How did you get to be so sweet?
We've even changed the lyrics to sing when washing our hands:
How'd you get to be so clean?
How'd you get to be so clean?
Did you dip yourself in water,
did you dip yourself in soap?
How did you get to be so clean?
Now doesn't that just brighten your day?
Aww, so sweet! I love that she's double fisting the marshmallow and grahams.
